Storytelling session around a fictitious campfire with the apocalyptic dancers

In this workshop, we will develop doomsday stories together. Inspired by doomsday stories from the last 5000 years, we will look for narratives that are dedicated to the downfall of our present. Perhaps something else, something previously unthinkable, will be revealed. Perhaps the world will simply cease to exist. Perhaps only mankind will disappear. Racism, right-wing politics, wars and climate catastrophes, violence against refugees at Europe's external borders... The present is sometimes almost unbearable. There are enough reasons to want to get rid of it.

According to theorist Donna Haraway, it's not just about which stories are told, but also how they are told and by whom. That's why the Stuttgart collective invites apocalyptic dancers to tell speculative apocalypses together and try their hand at queer, intersectional-feminist doomsday narratives around a fictional campfire.
