Festival-Eröffnung

From today, the RAMPE will be the festival centre and roll up its roller shutters to officially announce the combination of 6 TAGE FREI and FREISCHWIMMEN into the unique 10 tage freischwimmen festival!

The official festival opening starts at 7 pm:Angie Hiesl will kick off ten days of the finest performative arts. She gets us in the mood for the programme with an impulse on questions of ageing on stage and on our planet. This is followed by a welcome from the festival management and representatives of the city of Stuttgart.

The programme continues in the auditorium with the performance of "Die Vielhundertjährigen" by FREISCHWIMMEN alumna Caro Creutzburg and René Alejandro Huari Mateus, performed by an ensemble aged between 65 and 80. And because that's not enough for this special occasion, there will be cold drinks at the Rakete Bar and hot ears with exquisite DJ sets by Silvia Feuersenger to round off the evening.
